I've compiled a list of shortcuts I've come across.  Some by accident, others from searching the web.  Feel free to reply and add any you may have found or that I may have forgotten on my list.

Menu key
- You can multitask while on the phone by hitting the BlackBerry menu key during a call and selecting Home Screen. You’ll then have access to email, your address book, etc. However, most Blackberry's don’t allow for simultaneous voice and data transfer, so internet access, sending/receiving email will be unavailable while on a call.

BlackBerry Browser:

Shift + Space
- will enter a back slash in web address
A -
will add an item to bookmarks list
K
- will bring up your bookmark list
R

I
- display a list of the last 20 pages visited
O
- open browser options
End Call
- will close you out of the browser.
P -
This will allow for viewing and capturing of the web address for the page you are viewing.

Back to basics: starts and stops

If BlackBerry slows down, starts malfunctioning or freezing, always try removing the battery and SIM card, if the device has one, and waiting a few seconds before reinserting it.  95 percent of the issues BlackBerry users experience, are resolved by simply removing the battery.
